Cullen McIntyre holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College and a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Southern Maine. His professional experience spans marketing communications, digital content creation, journalism and visual storytelling.

Prior to joining the College of Business, Cullen worked in nonprofit communications and marketing at the Animal Welfare Society, where he managed digital communications, social media, website content and marketing initiatives. He previously worked at WGME as a Content Marketing Creator, developing social content and multimedia storytelling.

Cullen also works as a freelance sports photographer, working with the Portland Hearts of Pine and Portland Sea Dogs, among other assignments. His photography and media work have included professional, collegiate and high school sports throughout Maine.

His professional interests include social media strategy, digital marketing, content creation, visual storytelling, photography and the evolving relationship between journalism and marketing communications.
