Hailey Virusso, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of Preble Street's Anti-Trafficking Services (ATS). With over ten years of experience, Hailey has built her career on the development and provision of supports and services to best meet the needs of Maine's most vulnerable communities, including systems-involved youth, youth experiencing homelessness, and survivors of human trafficking. Her work is framed in the understanding that these issues are intersectional, focusing on the systems that impact our community members' access to safety and stability.

Presented in collaboration with: ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ School of Criminology, Society, and Politics; as well as Preble Street's Anti-Trafficking Services (ATS)

"Connecting with other professions gives me a broader understanding how each individual contributes to the progress and healing of each patient. It is not one person that can help the patient on their journey, but the team of healthcare professionals that can support them in all aspects of their life."
– ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Doctor of Physical Therapy Student, ’27, who attended the Oct. 1, 2025 CAIEP event in collaboration with Maine Youth Thriving (MYT): The Science and Art of Mattering: A team approach to ensuring psychological safety for patients and practitioners
